I am looking to get a rangefinder for bow hunting, what does everyone use and which one is good for the price?
Thanks

I use a Leupold RX-1000/TBR. (It is now the 1200.)

It has a bow setting and the TBR is for True Ballistic Range, so it calculates the actual distance with the angle.

Just picked up the Leupold 1200 TBR. Cabelas had them for $299. Went there with intention to leave with the Leica or Zeiss victory and I may be sorry only time in the field will tell. The lady looked at me sideways when I asked to take them outside to test. After 3 trips out the front door testing these I decided on the Leupy. I also tried the Vortex, Leica 1000, and the Zeiss Victory. All I've had in the past was a cheapo wild game POS so everything was an upgrade. The Vortex I was unable to range past 660 on a tree. The Leica and Zeiss had a slight edge in clarity but come with a hefty price tag. I was able to range out to 850 on a tree with the Leica and it was simple to use with a simple display. The Zeiss was equal in clarity to me (what little I tested them) and would range out to 900plus. It had a large circle reticle and I've read they have a wide laser beam that could lead to inadequate readings on game. The Leupy would range to 860 on a tree consistently and was clearer than the Vortex. It was the cheapest of the bunch. The display was a bit busy but after reading the manual and figuring out all the settings I think it'll just take some time getting use to. I'll report back after I use it during rifle.

I've had the Leupold 1200 TBR for about 3 months and love it. I was in Colorado and ranged a tree from a ridge at 885 yards. Came back to the same spot about an hour later and it ranged at 886 yards. Very consistent and the optics are very clear.
