the first pump i made was all pvc, it worked good until it got cold and brittle. so the ones i use are all brass and Galvanized
except for the air chamber. i have been using one for 3 years with little problems.

all the pumps i use, are 2'' exept for a 1-1/2'' that i use fow the soaker hose. but i would go ahead and use a 2''.

this sprinkler is beeing run by a ram pump, only takes around 20-25 psi.

i use one to run water to my house year round.
the house is around 2,000 feet away from the pump, and is pumping the water uphill around 80 feet tall.(atleast)

i have atleast 6to 7 feet of drop of water and 100 feet of 2''
pvc pipe feeding the pump.

it takes alot of water to run these pumps, has got to keep a 3''
pipe full at all times.

they are only 2 moving parts, ( check valve, and foot valve)
so they should work a long time.

i ment to tell u that u can get the check and foot vale a lot cheaper online. also for the drive line i used 2'' gray pvc conduit instead of 2'' white pvc. works just as good and half price.

I bought everything at Home Depot. One part they didn't have and I will have to order. I can't remember the part but will post tonight. If this works I will check for other sources to buy parts from. I am excited to have this in place for my tree plot/foodplot for the summer.
