Food Plots Rain

With more rain forecast for the next week or so, I think I'm going to spray my plots with Clethodim Saturday. I would like to wait another week, but the following weekend looks wet.

Checked my plots and grasses still aren't competing with plot plants, so I didn't spray. Considering it is recommended to only use Clethodim once a year, I'm delaying it as long as possible.

Sprayed clover with Cleth all day Saturday & still have 7 plots to do. Once they are done, it'll be time to hit with 24DB & Basagran.
I was very satisfied in how they are looking. March fertilizing has really kicked in with all the rain.
BTW, I just looked & here at home in NW Bama, we are finally ahead in moisture! MTD, YTD & last 365 days all now have a surplus. 50 miles north at camp is catching up fast as well 🤠

Top pic is 1/2 mile from me, there's a street under that river. The bottom is couple miles away & going over a Co Rd bridge.

@tellico4x4 wow! I'm on vacation but heard M TN is supposed to get a ton of rain over the next week. I sure hope so. We need it and our ponds need it for sure. I know you're on the TN/AL line and know that clover is eating it up. Our clover needs it bad

Saw yesterday where Huntsville got 7.5in rain lin less than 12h!

I was down in Huntsville yesterday and it was pretty bad. Saw several homes with water coming in and saw a car stuck on a bridge where they tried to cross and stalled out, dang near got washed over the edge. Car was turned sideways where water lifted and carried it a few feet. Very lucky folks.

We had that down here last week... young lady in her car got swept out of the Petal MS Walmart PARKING LOT, into a drainage ditch, car sucked into a big culvert, and she drowned before she could get out. 3 little kids.
