rain or shine?

iam heading to east tn this weekend for rifle opener. its suppose to rain and get very cold so what can i expect is rut going yet? and i always heard that best time to hunt is when it rains and cold front coming in is this true?

yes and yes the rut is just starting to heat up in maury county within the last day or two don't know about the east but the weather will be great for you.

thanks hope to bag a few this weekend i picked up some new land aint a whole lot but alot of fields and some woods my buddy went by there this morning seen 10 deer and some of the bucks where chasing does i got several places up there to hunt im staying til thanksgiving.
