Rage Broad heads not impressed.

I was shooting Rage on my bolts with my Bear Bruzer crossbow. I had great shot placement. The problem was no exit hole. I am going to try my muzzy's and there new broad head as well.
I recovered deer the next day after searching in the dark the first day.

Warm weather took the meat, I was tore up over that. It was my first kill with this bow and my best buck with bow so far.

I've killed several with the rages.. never even got close to loosing one..

I lost one ,no blood,shot one,no blood but found it,using rage

Well there was no blood trail at all and I shot him at 17yards the hole is the entrance in pic.
Shot him just before dark and tried to find him up till 9pm.

Lesson learned

You hit him high is the reason no blood. It all filled up in his chest.

Assuming it all filled up in his chest,
the reason there was "no blood" was actually because there was no exit hole.

On a shot such as this, probability of an exit hole is much higher with a fixed blade head?
