Food Plots Radishes

This is another plant im wanting to add to my food plots. I was thinking of just sowing some normal home grown radish seeds, but i have done some research and a lot of others think, aka the "pros", say there deer love the "deer radishes", which to me looks like turnips. Anyone have an opinion on this?

Many deer have to "learn" to eat radishes. This can take a couple years and many times people quit planting them when they don't see them being utilized.

If you plant them, don't be disappointed if they don't eat them at first.

Plant tillage radishes on several different farm deer absolutely love them.

I quit turnips after I planted radishes the first time the deer loved them and then pawed up the tops to get to the root

I'm putting my faith in this and going to plant them again this year. I mixed daikon radishes in with oats, wheat, and durana clover last fall. The oats, wheat, and clover were eat to the ground, yet the radishes weren't touched.
