I put this on trail cam section. But his body looks 2.5 maybe 3.5. Is it just the way he's walking. But he seems young to me. I'd say he will be very nice next year maybe. What's your thoughts.

Seems to have good mass and beam length. May just be worn down. I'd agree that body says one thing and rack says another, but I'm far from an expert
 
Thats a hard pic to judge, im gonna say 3.5 by body definitions which could be completely wrong with the angles
 
By the size of his ears I'd guess that's a small stature deer(young) with big rack. Yes I'd guess he will be impressive next season. Ears and eyeballs don't grow. Head fills in around them. Big Dumbo ears usually suggest a younger deer.

Without history with a buck it's gonna be very hard to age an older buck this time of year. Your buck could be 3 or he could be 6. I posted a video of a buck in Feb. 2024. He was at least 5 at the time but looked like a run down 3 yo. Hope he sticks around for next season so you can see his body then for better aging.
 
I figured he might be run down. I've never seen him before. I walked in the mountains and found some impressive rubs and Decided to stick a camera out. Not sure if he was the one making the sign. I was just getting a little inventory honestly. And he popped up and I thought he looked kind of young. But his rack had me thinking he might be older but rundown. I was getting others opinion.
