Yep. Best speeds in my gun were with '22.

Try 57-60 gr with a 130.

60g will push 3,200 so be careful there.

I went back to H-4831sc for a more accurate load (59.5g).

R22. I thought you were talking about air conditioner refrigerant.;)

I did some testing with RL22 a few years back with 140 gr Nosler BTs in a Ruger 77 270 and did not get near as good of groups as I did with IMR4831. My best groups have come with 49.5 gr IMR 4831 w/ 140 gr Nosler BTs. This load has shot exceptionally well out of every 270 I've loaded it for(Rems, Rugers, and Wins). It is not a fast load, but accurate when you get the bullet seated for the gun. I currently load 53.0 gr IMR4831 and CCI 250s with 140 gr Nosler ABs. This will group less than 1 MOA out of most factory guns at 2850-2900fps. Not quite the accuracy of the BTs, but a very lethal deer load. I also had very good groups using AA3100.

I have flirted with RL22.

Been using RL17 with good results.

Quit flirting with my girlfriend... :)

I use RL-22 in the 270wsm, 7wsm, and 300 Dakota.

I'ved used it in the 270win, 338wm, and a .40 muzzleloader.

RL-22 is my favorite powder, bar none.
