Remington will be offering a 1911 later this year known as the R1. Anybody else in line to get one?

I'm a Kimber man myself. The R1 offers nothing that isn't available from Colt

This is an american designed gun that's made at the Ilion facility. I put 100 rounds through one last week. It's a pretty sweet shooting gun.

It�s an American made 1911 targeted at the bottom feeders. A local shop sold some for $620 out the door. I have had many higher end 1911�s but I can�t wait to try one. I tried to find one at the Nashville gun show last weekend but couldn�t find any. So I bought an M&P15-22 with threaded barrel.

I like to buy American any time I can and I�m always glad to see the Americans take a market back. Like S&W did with the M&P handgun line.
