Quiver in tree?

I've decided not to leave my quiver on my bow anymore while on stand. Any suggestions for where to secure it?

Now I remember a way to secure it I discovered for my Summit OpenShot climber seat. I'll bungee it to the side at an angle. Works real good. Guess I got to decide what to do when using my strap on stands. Maybe just fasten to my pack?

I slide mine on my bow hanger up against the tree. I use one of those 3 arm hangers that fold.

I zip tie mine to my pack full time...if u need to snip off and put back on bow it's easy. U can hang from locker loop on pack

I hang mine on a piece of 550 cord from my tree stand

I bought one of those straps that goes around the tree and has hooks hanging from it. I can hang my quiver and pack from the strap.

I use Kwikee Quivers....they have a screw on quiver bracket for trees...take off bow....snap on side of tree upside down for quick 2nd shots if needed...

Thanks. I used to but prefer a more compact quiver on these little bows we shoot nowadays. Matter of fact, I had a bracket on my old Cougar Claw climber.

So besides the Kwikee quiver brackets, no body's suggested a way that solidly secures the quiver so it doesn't move on you any when needed. Just seems like that would be preferred for quickest arrow removal. Anyhow, thanks for all the suggestions thus far. Much appreciated.

I sometimes will just lay it up on a couple limbs if there are any available.

If it's that important might as well shoot with it on the bow.

I've never needed a second shot, but never had a shot at more than one legal deer at a time, either. My sight bubble is off with the quiver on, but anyhow, there's at least a couple of ways to secure an arrow handily for a fast second shot. One is a small clip that screws into the tree, but probably an even better idea is to simply hang an arrow by the nock from your stand seat or rail by a short string. I got that tip from a Third Hand Archery video.

Kwikee quiver makes a mount to go on your treestand also

Honestly I've never had a problem getting another arrow by taking my quiver off the hook it's hanging on and getting an arrow. Truth be known I've never had to "quickly" get another arrow.

I use a kwikee but I rigged mine and it's very easy to use in the tree. Made a small loop of string off the broadhead end of the quiver then put this over my bow hanger and slide it against the tree. Easy to get arrows, easy to use, and stays completely out of the way.

I carry a hippack in with me and I run the quiver through the belt of the hipback before I buckle it around the tree—no chance of it falling and it is tight against the tree because it is bucked in. The handful of times I don't carry the hippack, I run the quiver through the top bungee of my summit seat so it is fastened against the tree.

I do the same thing as UTGrad. The hooks on my strap slide so I can out a hook on each side of my quiver and cinch it down. It stays really tight against the tree. I've had to take quick second shots because of different deer in the area, and it works out great.

Thanks, guys. I guess any method is fine as long as it puts the quiver in a good location and secures it sufficiently to make arrow retrieval easy.

Try using leather lashing about the length of a boot lace. Or get you a set of leather boot laces. Been doing this for over 15 years. You simply tie the middle around the quiver shaft right under where it meets the hood. Then tie you quiver to anything you got - stand, pack, limb, etc. There is enough there to tie it at any angle you want or just let it hang. Leather strips are cheap, loose knots hold, and last for a very long time.

I do the exact same.

When I used to remove mine I have a tree strap with hooks on it like UTGRAD and run the strap thru the quiver and strap it to the tree. Holds it like it's on your bow. I also hung another arrow on a 550 cord on the front of my stand. I have taken more than one deer on many occasions and never felt my system was not adaquate

I just use my pull rope to tie it to the stand. In most cases, I have some limbs around the stand to lay it across as well.

I use a hip quiver so I just snap it around the tree like I do on my waist
