Hi all. I'm from North FL and never had an opportunity to hunt in TN before. My wife is from East TN and we'll be in for the holidays. Wondering if anyone has any tips and information on WMA? Need all the help I can get.

Being from middle TN I don't have allot to offer....I did hunt Cherokee NF many years ago...saw deer.....but it can be some tough country.... several East TN guys on here. Maybe they will chime in with some pointers....hope y'all have a great holiday trip.... welcome to TNdeer....great bunch of folks here.

East Tn is a rather large area, which area are y'all visiting. That would help narrow down some wma land

Johnson City area. I see that the N Cherokee WMA is pretty close.

North Cherokee is one. Be nice if you could get a printed copy of the regulations. Easier to spot WMAs on the map. Johnson City is Region IV. Here is a link to get you started. BTW, at one time, Malone's in JC was a hunting and fishing store. Here is a link to get you started. Good luck!
