What do you guys do about unwanted popular trees.I got hundreds I either want to just cut down or kill.I don't know whether to clean up the area and replant fruit trees or some sort of nut trees,or just leave everything laying and let the sun takeover.what would you guys do

I checked with a local logger and he told me it would cost more to get them than what they would be worth.would you just let them lay where they fall or clean the mess up

Fallen trees make excellent cover for the deer. If you cut a large track of them you might consider consolidating the tops or row them in such a way as not to obstruct your line of sight.

Defiantly tree tops are good cover and shelter for deer. They love it. I had my place select cut this year and there have been deer beds in and around tree tops all season long. Between the new under growth and the tops the hunting has gotten much better.
