A tree has fallen and half of it is in the field. We need to remove it before the guy cuts the field. If we get up there Friday after work, (5:30ish), run chainsaws for 45 mins, will the field be ruined for hunting in the AM?

I would rather not do that but if I had to I would still hunt in the morning. I think you will be ok. if you stay at home and dont go you will never know. Also you are not gonna kill one staying at the house. Opinions vary

Oh, I'm going up weather we take the tree or not, just wondering if the field would be a waste of time in the morning.
Thanks for the input guys/gals.

Is the guy going to cut it Friday night?? Why not take a change of clothes and chain saw and remove the tree after the morning hunt?

Heck, they're liable to come investigate 1 hour after its quiet again :) Won't bother'em a bit.
This for sure. Have done exactly what your say many times, and killed deer.

No. I've cut fire wood for an hour or two in the area of a stand and seen deer the next morning. You'll be fine. Also agree with the post above, they may come see what the heck all the noise was after you've gone.

No different than shooting one with a rifle and going back to the same stand the next morning and kill another one.jmo

Won't bother them - I have ran a chainsaw clearing out a small area for a trail camera. Had deer come through on camera that same evening checking out the work I did.
