Does temperature affect FPS? It seemed I was getting 2560-2600fps off a load of n120 a month ago. I shot this morning with same load & same powder and got 2480-2510fps. It was probably 20-25 degrees cooler.

Temp sure does affect your velocity. Thats why I do not believe in using a cooling rod as you are creating artificial conditions that will not be the same during the colder temps of hunting season. The rod is fine for allowing you to shoot during the summer heat but dont count on the same velocity or POI come hunting season with any powder.
