I know TWRA has to be involved in inspections and there has to be some sort of containment fencing to keep the exotics in. What happens when these exotics escape? Are they considered nuisance animals? Do the hunters have to have TN hunting licenses to basically shoot cows in the corral?
Edit: there is talk about one of these going in very close to my lease. We don't have hogs on my lease and want to keep it that way. I'm also concerned about other non-native species getting on my lease and disrupting things. What would be my options if I encountered such a beast on my leased land?
