I have a horton summit 150 have shot two deer and neither have been a pass throu. Should I be worrying? First doe hit a rib and bent about 4 inches in 2nd doe was hit in neck and hit the neck bone and stopped. Both deer dropped . I am also shooting swacker broad heads. Have I just not hit the magical spot or is the bow too weak?

I hunted with a summit for several years and killed better than twenty deer with it and all but one were pass thrus. But most of those were inside 20 yards too

I have a barnett wildcat. Have killed several deer with it and all were pass thrus with thunderheads. Switched to rages last year and only shot one but arrow disnt pass thru at 25yds. Killed the deer just as dead tho.

IMO that bow does not shot fast enough for a big mechanical as a swacker

When i used that cross bow i want to say it was shooting like 240 ish fps ( i killed several with it) you want to use a slick trick mag 100 grain broadhead and you will be golden

these mechanical like rage and swacker and the ones i use excalibur x-act BH take a lot of speed to penetrate as a lot of energy is loss opening up the large blades my excalibur cross bow shoots 376 fps i can chrono it all day at this speed all day

Had one, great bow. Plenty of speed and pass through power. Don't worry about it. I hit one in her neck couple days ago and no pass through, broadhead stuck in spine too far to pull out. You have plenty of speed and energy, just go hunt.
