Find what I think is a pretty good deal, but I never have owned a ruger hand gun before, so, ruger p94 40 cal. Opinions on this hand gun????

I have an older P85...built like a tank and you could probably drive a tank accross it and it will still function.

Good pistols but a bit on the heavy side. I wouldnt want to carry it but I am happy shooting it all day.

good solid pistol, very reliable. a used one is reasonable condition can pretty commonly be had for $275-$300

look at a p345,single stack mag,lite as a person could ask for and accurate,i would put cancerfighters up against any other out there ,or get a LCP with a 15 round mag,wieght them down :)

I have ran up on a p94 in almost perfect condition, two mags, 3 boxes ammo... I can get it for $225.....

I have a p89dc and it has been flawless in operation, not a single FTF or FTE with any and all types of ammo I have run through it. Yes, it is quite ugly and pretty heavy (NOT my CC weapon), but the thing just flat out works, I don't think you could break it if you threw it down and tossed a cinder block on it, and is as accurate as any 9mm in similar size that I have shot.

Having said that, I have only seen and never shot a p94 so I don't know anything about it. :grin: It does sound like a very good price, provided that model is anything like the older p series pistols.

First pistol I ever had was the P89 9mm. Probably the best shooting one I've ever owned but as stated they are bulky and heavy if you want it for a CCW. Otherwise jump on it.
