Question for the beekeepers

I'm in about my 10th month as a beekeeper so there's a lot I don't know.
This past spring, starting in March, beginning of April my bees were just piling in pollen built out my bottom brood box I put a top brood box on. They built that out then I threw on a honey super.
Now, if you've seen my post from a couple weeks ago, I did harvest three frames only about half full just because I wanted to give it a shot and see how harvesting went.
I'm wondering if I threw The Bees off by doing that.
Needless to say, I am not getting much activity in my honey super.
Another thing that I'm wondering right now is if the one week of cooler temps heavy winds and a ton of rain, wiped all the pollen off the plants and trees.
Anyone else seeing low production numbers or even better? Is anyone knocking it out of the ballpark.

Yes, May was too wet. I checked 7 hives this week only 3 had enough honey to harvest I usually pull all my supers by mid June I'm going to give them til first July but I'm not counting on much

I've got two hive but one's a 6 week old split.
So as far as getting honey, i've only got one hive.
Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket
What do you think about my rain washing away the pollen theory?
I'm gonna be expanding big time next year

Last year May was a perfect month and they were filling supers fast and I was hoping for a big honey harvest then June came and it rained and rained and they didn't increase at all with all the rain this yea it watered down or completely washed away all the pollen and nectar and what they did bring in they had to work overtime to dry it out Just my opinion

I'm not mad, just disappointed.
I will say, beekeeping is a blast.
Them little bastards are interesting.

There are these Bee keeper clubs all across what appears to be every state. My Daughter is a member of the Shelby County club so you don't have to have a bunch of bees in your backyard.
