Question for squirrel hunters

I was floating the Harpeth today and there was 1 tree, a Sycamore w/ Hickories around it. There was probably at least 12- 14 squirrels in that Sycamore chasing each other and running up and down in a frenzy. This was at noon. Never seen that before. May have to go back.:)
 
Just to give you the benefited of my dad's advise that I didn't follow. Do not shoot a squirrel over water they sink like a rock. I know this for a fact.

I have shot them over water from a kayak and had them float.

You didn't put enough holes in them. All joking aside I have never had one to float. I have done it twice and never again.

Lol I got video of that happening last week! Never would have thought they would sink. Luckily used the paddle to retrieve it. Then later, ended up throwing it back in the water because I was pissed off about dunking my camera in the water farther downstream. that was a bad day for me and 2 particular squirrels, and my camera.
