So I hunted a new property this past year and it has 5 large AG fields on the property, but all are on the property borders and not very friendly neighbors. I want to plant at least 3 smaller food plots further in the property coming from bedding areas before the deer get to the larger AG fields. I have done plenty of large and small food plots but never tried to do any site prep, soil prep, etc. in the January, February months for spring growth and spring planting. I plan to do one site in clover and would like to frost seed, but have never done that either. The other sites I would like to have some annual for the spring and fall to prepare the soil now. I will have to do some spraying, weed eating, etc on at least two of the plots and can not get any implements into these locations. Any help is appreciated.
