Question about national wildlife refuges.

Maybe a game warden or someone could help me out. The wildlife refuges such as big sandy and duck river they say they are closed to fishing and deer hunting nov15-March 15 or so. Is it open to squirrel all year or is it closed as well.

I hunt different refuges throughout TN. All of them have their nuances and subtle differences, even different regulations for different parts of the same refuge. It's best to call the number on the brochure and inquire, but they may be furloughed at the moment. Good luck!
