Question about model 7

I'm 6'7" tall, and I have 6 model 7's. Best handling bolt action woods gun ever made. You can get a youth or adult stock. Most were made with either an 18.5" barrel or 20" barrel. I shy away from the 18.5", it increases noise levels a lot.

.223
.243
.260
7mm-08
.350 Rem. Mag
.358 Winchester

The .350 with 250gr. bullet is not pleasant on the shoulder, but it will drop a dang Elephant.

Oh, the .350 is a Custom KS and with scope and loaded weighs a tad over 6lbs if I remember right.

She's NASTY!!

Glad to help.

You won't be dissapointed with a Model 7. I do wish there was more aftermarket item availability, but you can't have everything.

Model 7 is a great rifle. I love mine. I have a 7-08 and 260. The 7-08 has a youth stock and the 260 has the standard stock. They are both shooters. Hey Ratsnakeboogy, Im jealous with you having the 350 custom. My 350 is a model 673.

Lucked into it 8 or so years ago, bought it from a guy in New Mexico. It has a blemish or two, but I love it. If they would make those Custom KS stocks available to the public I would replace all mine with them. Mine is stocked by Mcmillan, but Brown Precision made some of them as well.

About three years after I bought this one, the Remington Custom Shop lost their minds and started pricing their stuff like Cooper Exhibition grades. I would never pay that for a factory rifle, I could build my own just the way I wanted it for less, and have a much better rifle.
