Ques for Soybean guys?

Seen lots of pics of great looking Eagle beans,in less than perfect dirt conditions,some dang near chirt.

Heres the question,do you attribute this great sucsess to the bean brand,or the good rain fall we had in spring and early summer?

I know its getting dry now,but some really great growing conditions earlier.

I think its both the brand of bean and good rain. The eagle beans grow better than most weeds.

I think the Eagles are a great product, but we have had a great deal of rain this summer which had made them look even better.

The only area of my Eagles that are just so-so is next to a pond that we dug a few years back, and Im pretty sure there is little to no topsoil there, and I never did fertilized them, which is my fault and not there's. Just ran out of time.

I have not ever grown any Eagle beans but I believe I read somewhere they was a group 7 bean. That could play a big part in how tall they get depending on time planted. If you took the highest group regular ag bean and planted it early it would grow tall. I planted group 4.7 in late April and early May and they have got almost shoulder high on ridge top land this year. If I would have planted a higher group they would have even got taller. Population also plays a big role in how tall they get. The thicker the taller.

I was excited about the new products as well!!! I talked with Joyce about them for probably 10 minutes at the QDM booth.

She said the wheat was ready to be shipped, but the oats are not ready yet, and I believe the other product was rice.

Joyce had said, most wheat products come from the west coast alot of times, and she said there product was a cultivar that was born and bred in the South.

If the new forage wheat is anything like there beans, they will have a hit on there hands. I plan on ordering some this week.

The thing that has really impressed me with the Eagle soybeans is how tolerable they are to heavy browse. Jmb4wd can attest to how heavy the browsing is on my field, and despite every single bean plant having been snipped off, the beans still keep putting on new growth.
