Anyone here use or have used the Q-Safe tree strap from Blinded hunting?

wanting something to make the climb quietier & quicker.

I sent the company an email inquiring about what weight the Q-Safe is rated at and this is his reply:

Thanks for the inquiry. I have Qsafe rated at 300lbs. I am sticking to this for now because of traditional TMA ratings and insurance reasons. I can tell you this, Most harness's on the market are using the same webbing I use(3100 lbs. break strength), but unlike most harness's Qafe is doubled everywhere, not the single piece of webbing......hope this helps.

20-feet up had these safety pin type holders that zip tie to my Summit climber cable. It holds the tree tether away from the tree and allows you to quickly get up and down. In the event you fall, it pulls out of the clips and you are saved.

They went out of business, but someone has to have reproduced those clips.

I put the 20 ft up clips on both my climbers last year. Great idea better than anything I had used before but the strap still occasionally came out of the clips while I climbed. I bought the Qsafe and havent used it yet, hope to this weekend, but it appears to be a better mouse trap.

Well how do you like it?

I started using this rope safety strap this year and LOVE it with my climber.
Uses the prussic knot concept and is very easy to loosen and slide up the tree and then tighten up.
They also make a longer version for use with ladder stands.
