I set 4 out for just a couple days and tripped them before my Illinois hunt a couple weeks ago. Reset them this past Monday I believe it was. Going to get at it real hard starting next week.

Opened up 20 coyote sets and a bobcat cubby yesterday. Going to put out a dozen dp's today. It's been slow this year. 3 coyotes, 4 coons and a possum. I'm not hearing them tune up at night and not seeing tracks.
 
Got 6 traps reset and some moved behind the house today. Broke a sweat doing it in 70 degrees. I just haven't been real motivated for some reason. Hoping when/if I get my first catch soon it'll motivate me more.

I never get real serious with it until about this time of year so hoping to get a bunch set next weekend at my other property.
 
Set 14 DPs Thursday evening at mostly cell cam locations were I was getting 2-6 coons in a pic daily. Caught 3 possums! Had a ferrell cat on cam, a buzzard trying to kill one of the caught possums, and a bobcat that came by in another with a caught possum. Figured the bobby would have tried to kill the possum but he just watched it as he walked by. Will set some leg holds soon. Can't believe I didn't catch a single coon. Was using cat food and small marsh mellows.

Well I have a pile of coyote traps and 1/2 dozen dps. Just like everything else, gotta be where they are. I had to catch the coons first but so far this year I have only caught one possum and 2 coons. I just need to take my time and make the best looking set you've ever seen and it'll catch a possum lol.

That is odd.. I been wearing the coon out all year
 
Well I just pulled everything at first farm. Farmer renting the bottom ran a bulldozer through 6 traps so I pulled the rest. Kendall pro no bs jr's with wolf fangs on chain aren't cheap. Took a pretty good hit today. It is what it is. Time to move to another farm.

Ha! I thought this story sounded familiar, did not realize this was your screen name. Hate it you lost some traps dude, we are up to 5 ringtails and 3 possums. Aint set any leg holds yet.
