Headed out this morning with my partner to a new hot spot we picked up last week. Got set up and turned on the Foxpro. After about 3 min i see a head bobbing on the other side of the rise. Yote tops the rise and starts down towards the decoy. It stopped about 20 yds from the decoy so i let the 22-250 bark. It dropped and i spotted a second yote running in the background. My buddy slung some lead at it and i noticed my yote crawling towards the woods. Fired a second round and rolled it again. It got back up again and a 3rd shot to the base of the neck put it out for good. These 50 gr ballistic silvertips blow a big hole and i dont know how on earth this yote ever moved. Farmer was tickled to death since hes lost 3 calves in the last month.
