Well after seeing Spit's and a few others post up about their calls from YoteHntr, I had to get one too.
Great service and a great guy to deal with. I am extremely happy with my custom call.... thank you brother!!
A cousin and I were trying to find a turkey.... he missed out on the youth hunt so I was going to let him shoot the first legal bird. We watch a hen bug around for 30 minutes or so before moving up the ridge to the top and look back out over the pasture.
Well we get up there, I look out for any turkeys, and all of a sudden I see a coyote toward the bottom, about 100 yards away, sniffing around where the hen was feeding.
Well Friday I put my predator call in my turkey vest just in case the situation came about where I might use it. I pulled the call out and made two series of distress calls on it....at the sound the coyote looked up and broke into a dead run right toward us..... There were treetops down it had to work through and we had the wind blowing from right to left with us. The coyote got to about 20-25 yards and I lip squeaked for it to stop. quartering towards me, I let her have a face full of 3"- 2oz. Hevi #7's (My cousin was going to shoot Mrs. Grizzly's shotgun). It cut back and went into some of the tree tops. I circled around after a few minutes of waiting and found my prize!!!
