I made some pulled pork bbq from pork roast that food city had on sale for like 99ct a lb. Got 3 roast bout 4lbs each so cost was about 13bucks.
Added my rub from what I had in the cabinet, ended up with 7lbs of pulled pork bbq(Family is picky so I take out of the unrendered fat when breaking the meat up) smoked with cherry/hickory(and the hickory was from my woods)--BBQ joints around here want 13bucks a LB for their bbq. I got like maybe 20bucks invested in 7lbs of finished bbq ...make it a home folks..did it on a weber kettle grill with kingsford blue bag charcoal. Rub was a low salt rub that I just mixed up.
