Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of any public deer hunting land near Jackson tn? We live in middle tn but my wife's family lives in Jackson tn near the lake graham area, they own land in bath springs to hunt on the tn river but it'd sure be nice to find somewhere around east jackson/ Lexington area to hunt without the 2 hr drive, natchez trace might be an option but we don't know the area at all, we're going to be down that way soon and again for the holidays, I've also thought about asking around for private land options but wouldn't know where to begin

definitely look into natchez trace, just a little scouting might help you get a feel for the woods and find a spot to set up. I've never hunted there but drove thru on I-40 and I hear it is a good WMA with tons of acres.

If you got land in bath springs to lake graham. It shouldn't be no more then a hour drive. But to answer your questions. Natchez trace. And you can also hunt around certain areas of the beach lakes

The place west of Jackson off of 412 should be a decent spot to hunt. I've only duck hunted it, not deer hunted but i know a few folks who have killed some nice bucks off the place.

Its about an hr and 45 minutes from house to gate, not horrible, but often i only have a few hrs total to sneak off because were down for a birthday party, etc. this place off of 412 sounds like it fits the bill, does it have a name so i can look up info? Thanks!

Are these corp of engineer controlled places or twra? Thanks for any help also interested in the beech lake area, im probably going to bath springs for the usual thanksgiving/ christmas hunts but these other places really interest me for a quick hunt where i dont have nearly 4 hrs open of driving

I've looked around on the internet for any information on the beach lake TVA hunting land and can't seem to find a map. Do you have a direct link to it or know how to get one?
