My best turkey to date spur wise. Killed him this morning on public land. 21 lbs. 10.75 beard. Spurs a hair over 1.5.

Congrats, you got to love that. 1.5" is about as good as it gets for the places I have hunted in TN. Congrats again and thanks for sharing.

Im a spur man myselft. Great Bird!!!

Cant be west tn bird all the public land is closed. I drove 1.5 hours to Natchez Trace this morning. It was my first time there and let me just say that is some awesome scenery. I did get on a bird that gobbled only two times. The turkeys pitched down around 6:15 and left the scene. I never could get on another one. I left at 11am. Im going to try and make it back next week. I was just excited that I picked a spot on the map, walked to it and there was a bird where i guessed lol.

It was a Middle TN bird. Also, the draw hunts on Lower Hatchie started today. Then we got the draw for next wknd. Also, everything finally opens next wknd.
 
Congrats on a public land bird! They are painfully addicting to hunt.
