Seems the small family farm I had the privilege to hunt has gotten the offer they can't say no to so I'll need to find a new spot to hunt this fall. I am in Sumner county so what public places should i avoid to narrow the search down..

I'm not familiar with hunting in Sumner, but my advice would be to not avoid any public properties. It's yours. You own it. So use it as such. It won't take long to figure out which places are more productive or more comfortable to hunt, but you'll not get that info from an online forum. You need to find that stuff out on your own, IMO.

BAM...nailed it!

I'm not familiar with the public land opportunities in the area but I hate to hear you lost your private land spot....in addition to researching public...don't give up on finding private land opportunities too...don't know until you ask....would the new owners allow you to hunt? Good luck searching for new areas to hunt!

I can't help you with Sumner County, but it your going to lose a hunting property, now is the best time to find out. The next 3 months are prime time for scouting. Get out and spend as much time in the woods as you can.
