I found a little army worm activity in my corn food plot in W Tn this past weekend and sprayed it. Do you ever have to spray it again or does that typically take care of them for the year?Army worms are early and bad this yr in west tn so far. . Be on the look out

It's kind of pot luck. It all depends on the swarms of moths and where they land and lay eggs and successions of flights and hatches as they move across the landscape.I found a little army worm activity in my corn food plot in W Tn this past weekend and sprayed it. 2022 army worms were the worst we've ever dealt with.3 or 4 years ago I had 3 acres of Sudan sorghum that we use for blind camouflage stripped so bad the field looked like it was hairy!
It was about 12 inches tall and all they left was the central stem.
Same here. Wiped out my Cereal Rye. That's why I no longer plant it. They didn't touch my wheat but completely wiped out my rye.2022 army worms were the worst we've ever dealt with.
Luckily we didn't have food plots in. But our hayfields we lost about 85 acres of orchard grass and fescueSame here. Wiped out my Cereal Rye. That's why I no longer plant it. They didn't touch my wheat but completely wiped out my rye.
