Army worms are early and bad this yr in west tn so far. . Be on the look out
Sprayed beans and corn last week
I found a little army worm activity in my corn food plot in W Tn this past weekend and sprayed it. Do you ever have to spray it again or does that typically take care of them for the year?

I have been on the lookout for them. So far just some corn bore damage at Cumberland City but standing at ready

It's kind of pot luck. It all depends on the swarms of moths and where they land and lay eggs and successions of flights and hatches as they move across the landscape.
Strong storm systems or winds will carry them for miles

I get a variant of them every year on my 250 azaleas in my yard in south MS. First ones showed up 3d ago. Got to be diligent with killing them. In a week, they can go from eggs to 1.5in worms and completely strip an azelea plant to nothing but stems.

Normally they dont show up until 3rd week of Aug... so they are def a little early down here this year compared to years past

I had the same happen 1 yr on my hay fields that were pure orchard
They also ate my Bermuda around my house
My wife swore I wiped it out w herbicide
