A while back I posted that I needed a rear sight elevator to go on the project rifle I was working on. Bought one from Midway. Anyway, below is the rifle I was working on. I bought this nice stock / forend from a TND member on a Marlin .30-30. I wanted it on a .35 Rem., so, finally at a gunshow this summer I found a nice rust free, pre-crossbolt safety, rifle at a reasonable price. I bought it, switched the furniture around, cleaned up the .35, added the rear sight elevator to complete the I suppose aftermarket Redfield rear sight, and this is it. I REALLY like the carving on this stock set.
