Hey everybody. New to the site and new to the state. Just moved here from north Central ky. I live south of clarksville. Looking for recommendations on a local processor. Looks like "Hunter's Harvest" does the most business. Is Pedder's still open? They had good reviews online, but I tried to call and the number didn't work. Any others? Thanks.

This is not in Clarksville but flowers deer processing is a good place to bring them been going to them for around 30 years now. There in Joelton.

I used livgston meat processing last year they were close to Hopkinsville not sure if close enough to you, but they did great job
We take our steers there, good work for sure.

Nathaniel up in Pembroke is good too. He makes some crazy good sausages and jerky. Bologna, ho dogs and his hams are stupid good. I'm not convinced it's made with the deer you bring up there but it's to good to question.
All the ones in Clarksville are good if you want normal cuts. Not sure if Lewis Peder is still working or not, he has been "retiring" every year since 2005[emoji14].

Thank y'all for the advice. I killed a buck in ky opening weekend and dropped it at livingstons on my way home. I just donated it to HFTH cause I didn't want to drive back up that way to pick it up. Seemed like a good place, just a little far for me. It's about an hour.

Nathaniel makes good stuff. I think his place is called Fairview Custom Butchering. You definitely don't get back your own meat though, the sausage and hotdogs and bologna, ground, etc are made in like 200lb batches. I asked last time I went.
