The stand to the backside of my private property is about 5000 yards up a steep hill and rolling terrain from that point on till I reach the stand.

Recently a buddy bought a section of average that butts up to my back side of the property where the stand is located and has granted me easement to get to said stand . It's only about a 700 yard Trex to the stand from his side .

Question being . Would I be in a position where I would have to purchase a hunting license just to cross his property to get to my land ?

Hunting my land under landowner exception and NOT hunting his land so we are clear .

Re: Private land

Under the legal definition of hunting, you would technically need the licenses while crossing his land. I would suggest contacting your local officers and discussing it with them since they will be the ones making the call.
