priorty points question.

This is my first year to put in for wma hunts. I put in for P.I. Of course i didnt get drawn. But it says I have 0 pts. I thought I was suppose to get a point? Can someone explain how the system works.

I was wondering the same thing. Is it possibly that we had 0 points prior to the drawing?

I dont know, I assumed that every year I didnt get drawn I would receive a point. Maybe next year , I will have a point when I try again.

It says that cause it was how many you had before you put in. Next yr when you put in it will show you have 1 priority pt.

13th year? Did you get drawn for another hunt sometime in the interim that reset your points to zero?

There have only been 8-9 years of that 13 year period under the priority point system. Prior to the current system, you either had priority status or you didn't. That allowed some lucky individuals to get drawn every other year, while others that had priority were not drawn. That was one of the main reasons to go to the current system.

Nope I have not hunted another WMA.
