I purchased the swamp donkey spray attractant from primos a couple months ago and have seen pretty good results. Its basically corn flavored salt water. With 14% salt(NaCl), 6% sodium(NA), and corn favoring. I sprayed it on some corn that I had put out, I could not really see a difference here because the activity around corn seemed normal. However I sprayed it on the plants and grass around my Trophy rock and saw a significant increase in the activity around these areas. A group of does and a few bucks commonly make visits to this area now. I was wondering if anyone has given this product a try and have had similar results? plus it kinda smells like popcorn
 
Ive tried the crushed attractant stuff and nothing even touched it. Even the coons didnt seem to interested and they eat bout anything round here.

have you tried it by itself?I would think the deer were coming to the trophy rock and smelled it but wonder if they would come in to only the spray.i don't think they would come back day after day for it.
 
I placed the trophy rock off a trail before I purchased the spray. there was a group of does that started coming and using it a few days after. A couple weeks after I purchased the spray and sprayed it on the plants around the trophy rock and have resprayed about once a week. I noticed that the plants were getting eaten and the deer werent just coming to use the trophy rock but also to feed.

Maybe I'm missing something but why would you even try a corn flavoring on real corn?

Its not just corn flavor. Its go a lot of salt in it which the deer like. I imagine the corn flavoring is for if you spray it one plants or such

Its not just corn flavor. Its go a lot of salt in it which the deer like. I imagine the corn flavoring is for if you spray it one plants or such

My point was why pay big money for corn flavored salt to put on corn that already tast like corn. Just add cheap salt to the corn. If buying corn flavored product only use it on things that don't already taste like corn.
