fished hard yesterday with a friend. He caught 2 and lost a nice fish right at the boat. Nothing for me, I mean zero (which happens quite often to me) I do not think I even got within 100 yards of a bass with any of my baits. They pulled a Houdini. No doubt, that is why it is called fishing and not catching. In my years of fishing the hotter the better this time of year. The weather this week may kill the "school" bite.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I got skunked, I might could buy some gas. My old saying is you sure wouldn't have caught them if you didn't go!
