Man backed out on me so I went fishing by myself this morning.
I was on the water at 5:30.
Looked nice watching the sun rise as I eased across the lake to where I wanted to start.
Began my day with an 11" shellcracker.
The fish were more scattered and I caught alot of small fish.
Ended up with 89 total with 41 keepers including 10 big shellcracker.
My buddy from work and his son was there and I talked to them shortly after I got there. Lost track of them quick though because they were gonna bass fish before starting to bream fish.
I came out of the cove about 8:30 and went to my second spot.
I noticed his truck was already gone and I thought that was odd to leave so early.
When I got back to where I had signal I text him and told him how I did. He said they had to leave because his son got a hook in his arm.
He said they had just left the doctors office.
Haven't talked to him since so I don't know how bad it was but no matter how bad, having to go to the doctor for it had to suck.
Might try to sneak out tomorrow before or after church depending on what the anchor has planned and what the weather does.
