Pretty good morning for ditch pickles

I was invited by a buddy to go fishing this morning.
Private lake.
14" and smaller go in the cooler.
Everything else goes back in the water.

I caught a 5#
Four 4#
Three 3#
5 2# or less

My buddy caught 2 over 6#
Probably 6 that were between 4&5
I think 7 2# or less

Clouds parted and the sun came out and the bite switched off.
Awesome morning!

Nothing like a loaded private lake. I get to go to a place that has few a couple times a year. This pic was 3 guys, just under 2 hours. We try to only clean 10" to 13" bass and everything else gets put back. Not uncommon to catch 25 -30 that will go 5 to 7 lbs each. I haven't caught one, my largest there was an 8-15, but a few over 10 have been caught.

It is hard to get him to go, but my dad has went a few times. Couple pics of the better fish we find, and some days, especially in the rain, can be unbelievable.
