Looks like he didn't make it. Maybe someone across the street shot it with a bow and didn't find him. Not sure. Little Bro found it yesterday when mowing a roadside field.
Odd that's it's the second buck found in the same area since January.
The last one had the rack cut off which leads me to think this is an unrecovered deer.

You sure that's same buck? Only reason I ask is because main beam in velvet dips and the g3 is angled forward at the tip. Looks like more white around his nose as well. Sucks either way man! Sorry about it. Wish you could have gotten a shot.
