Prentice Cooper State Forest HELP

So I'll be hunting Prentice Cooper WMA for the second year in a row. Last year I had no success. I've read the past forum advice on watching for snakes, but how can I have a successful harvest with a hundred ATVs tearing up and down the roads? I've scouted for several days and covered lots of ground and I've seen absolutely NO sign of deer activity. I'm sure I'm at a disadvantage without using a four wheeler, but I'm just more traditional I suppose. I'm just looking for any advice available from people who have experience hunting there. Please help a brother out! Thanks in advance!

There's plenty of sign there. Try looking in the drainages that are cut off on the sides of the trails/ roads. We saw tracks in just about all of them last year. Find one of those with tracks in it and head in.

Not to be a downer but if history repeats itself I'd hunt elsewhere.

Yeah, there's not too many deer taken on this hunt each year. I enjoy it because I'm in the woods a week early and it's a good time with friends. We did get covered up last year though so we will see what happens.
