Prentice Cooper Hunting

Anybody ever hunt Prentice cooper? Im trying to take a friend to hopefully get her first deer and Prentice is around the corner from her. I found a map with all the food plots in the area but does anyone know if the roads are wide enough for a truck to make it close enough or is it pretty much four wheeler only?

Most roads are good for trucks, some roads are 4wd only.

I wouldnt drive on some of the roads that branch off of the main one but you can usually tell before it gets bad. I would park on the main road and then walk in to your spot. A bit of advise though, get there early and be waiting when the gate opens so that you can get to your spot and beat the main rush.

Be ready to hike, and don't be scared of hills if you hunt the top of the mountain.

Is hunting at the top near the shooting range better then beyond the fire tower?
