Has anyone tried any of their bullets. I think they offer the qt and dead center bullets. I've read some reviews and they seem great. Just wondering if any of y'all have used them.
 
They can be loaded to shoot well but the ballistics claimed are bogus. Pure lead bullet can only be pushed so fast.
 
They are one of the most accurate bullets I've used, and easy to load. I've killed several deer with them, and not had any problems.

I'm not currently using them myself because I believe there are better hunting bullets. But I do have a close friend who loves them because they are accurate, easy loading, and will get the job done.

True.
But they're fine at the speeds most are using under 2,000 fps. The supplied orange sabot would also be a problem under greater pressures. For anyone having accuracy and/or "too hard to load" issues with their non-smokeless muzzleloader, these bullets aren't a bad choice. Other choices include experimenting with different sabots, such as the Harvester Crush Rib.

I took the below deer a few years ago with the .40 cal 260 gr Precision Dead Center.

I've not personally tried the .347 in a .50 cal bore, but would have reservations about it, since the sabot would have to be relatively huge. Most saboted bullets being used in .50 bores are very close to .45 cal bullets. If you go down to a .40 cal bullet (or smaller), going to need a much thicker-walled sabot. And wrong sabot can be as bad as wrong bullet.

This was kinda my thinking. I like the idea of a smaller diameter bullet but the sabot could pose an issue. Didn't DA experiment with this a couple weeks ago.
 
If you want a smaller diameter bullet try the 200 gr Shockwave in the blue sabot for the 50 cal. I use it with 80gr of BH209 and it's a 1" grouper for me. Real tough bullet too.
