powder question

I am taking my nephew on Juvenile Saturday. The landowner has just requested we use muzzleloaders only this year. I am currently sighted in with 100gr of 777. I am only going to load 90gr of powder for the youngster to shoot. Anyone have any experience on different powder charges. I have only shot 100gr charge for years. I'm going to shoot the gun tomorrow with 90gr charge. What can I expect?

I shoot a load of 70gr of 777 with a 460gr bullet and I have a 1" group @ 100yds.

Shot the gun at 60yds with 90grs. bullet hit exactly the same spot with 90gr as 100gr, actually hit a bright eye at 60yds off lead sled, took pic of bullet hole. Nephew killed a doe with it this morning at 45 yards, I asked him about the kick and he said "huh?". don't know how to post pic, but thanks guys
