I tried it,very clean.I tried it with 3 differ bullets with loades ranging from 90grs to 120grs in 10gr increments,and I just couldn't get any accuracy out of it.I will say that it was very clean when compared to 777.
 
I shot Blackhorn 208 yesterday in my Omega. Performed very well. I shot it twice with absolutely no cleaning in between and the first patch went all the way to the bottom of the barrel with no sticking on the crud ring. I don't think the barrek was ever tga tckeab with any of the other powders. Very easy to clean barrel. Seems to me ignition was faster than other powders or pellets but that is subjective
 
good gun for BH209. No cleaning between shots at all with BH209. Use a good oil based cleaner at the end of the day and its simple to clean up. Also, run a few snug fitting DRY patches down the bore first, it mops out the loose fouling and makes clean up even easier.

Use a 1/8" drill bit "spun with your fingers" and cut the carbon out of the breech plugs flash channel and its good to go!
 
i have a omega and tried the 209 powder, it would not fire. i am thinking i had the wrong primers. i am going to try the 209 powder again with the cci magnum primers and hope i get better results. question: i read somewhere that i could drill the breech plug a little wider.. do i need to do that ???? thx

I haven't heard any issues with the breech plugs from TC's but a few problems with CVA's. Works good in my Encore.
 
I've shot 4 jugs of BH-209, it's the best powder that I have shot, I've use it in the TC Encore, 6-7 of my .45 Knights, there are draw backs, it can't be used in any type of PLUNGER GUNS. Also a tight fitting primer ( crush fit ) the sabot or bullet needs to be setted firmly on top of the powder. I have shot upto 30 rounds without swabbing or cleaning the barrel.

The standard breech plug is .028, drill out to .035. I believe a #65 drill is the right size (not positive) just be careful to not break off the drill, it is very small! I did mine by hand, clamped the drill bit in a vise grips.
Try the Winchester Magnum primers with BH209, I was a firm believer in CCI mags until I tried the Winnys. I also put a small "O" ring in the bottom of the primer pocket. It prevents any blow-by, by creating a really tight seal. Works well!
 
Use a 1/8" drill bit and with your FINGERS, turn it until it slowly cuts the carbon out of the breech plugs flash channel.

Winchester W209, CCI , CCI 209M, Federal 209A, STS primers should all work flawless with the TC Breech plug.
