Kinda like this one? My dad made this one out of a deer hide. The button is a piece of deer antler. I am going to make one next year if I kill one early enough to have it before muzzleloader season. I want to die mine a darker brown color though. The buckskin that the bag is laying on may become a possible's bag as well.

More properly called a possibles bag which got its name from the old western mountain man term for the bag they carried that held anything they could "possibly" need. More commonly referred to as a hunting bag or pouch and I've seen made out of anything from alligator to pig and all in between.

nice bags wobbly. i've made two. one out of leather and one out of deer hide with the hair on. i also make a lot of small pouches for lead balls and make my own knife sheaths out of deer hide. like the loading block also. some of these flatlanders probably didn't recognize it for what it is.
