on the Big Green Egg.......nothing like putting your meat on and sitting around enjoying the evening having a beverage. Bar-B-Que will be ready at 10:30 in the morning. Life is good!
 
That is the one benefit to a Green Egg that I will certainly get into. My biggest issue with smoking meat is constantly tending the fire.

I use to enjoy tending the fire all night when I was younger, now I just set my dampers and walk away.
 
My grill is so inefficient, I need to check on it about every 30-45 minutes in the summer. More frequently if it's cold outside.
 
Was at a BBQ competition this weekend and had a team that was sponsored by GReen Egg next to us. Really nice guys and one of thier sales reps was handing out hats and aprons with the logo after last turn in.

Our team ran 1 egg last year for chicken and ribs, but went back to an old drum smoker since they just couldn't get it right with the egg.
