Am thinking about using ground blind some during bow season. Any tips on what tricks i might want to use. I know i need to brush it in. Do you leave windows down same as when u hunt ? or what are things u look for when setting one up? Thanks!

Keep the windows up as much as possible. Any thing that is open to the back side of the blind will silhouette you. The less light in the blind the better.

Just put mine up this past weekend. Kept backing away and backing away to find the "right" spot. Rifle is sure easier than bow. When we found the "right" spot the blind disappeared against the backdrop. We brushed it in anyway. If you didn't know it was there, it would look like a thicket. And If it is a sunshine day, no matter the temp, you will be warm. Bring water and plenty of it. I would practice sitting inside it drawing and getting a sight picture.

The first time I used one, I set it up on a Wensday, at mid day. I brushed it in good. Took my son to hunt out of it on Saturday, 3 days later, and had deer with in 30 yards of us, and never noticed it.

I never brush mine with anything. Nothing at all and it's out on the open. Deer have walked within 10 yards of it many times in the last few years.
