Poor Colorado

There's a reason folks call it "Cali-Rado". Denver, Colorado Springs, and the few other big towns on the Front Range drive the liberal policies for the entire state. Gov Polesmoker's ultra-liberal boyfriend/husband pushes his agenda's too, just like the "re-introduction" of wolves, and appointing a Vegan as Agriculture Commissioner.

my next "home" out west will be WY or southern MT

The hunting in that state, sadly, is going to go downhill over the years. Between the liberal politics taking over and the stupidity of brining wolves there, why do liberals always have to ruin the prettiest states? If we ever moved out West it'd probably be Idaho. They haven't ruined that one, yet...

Liberalism ruins everything is touches.

I let all my points go for deer & elk (11) a few years back because of all that crap. Started hunting there in 1979. For the years I have left it'll be WY for me for western hunts. Doubt I'll ever spend another dollar in CO.

Trapping bobcats in the west saves them from starvation. Otherwise an overabundance causes too many mouths to feed when rabbits, their preferred prey, are on a down cycle. Ten years or so ago the closing footage on CBS's Sunday Morning program was of a bobcat in the in the daylight just chilling. In actuality, it was lethargic and starving. The camerman and the news folks didn't even realize it, but to anybody who knows bobcats out west it was obvious.
